Due to a high brix content, the taste of the Conference pears is really good this season. This is beneficial, because good taste always increases sales.

This is a good thing, since the size of the pears is above average this year.

We supply most of the Conference pears 1-layers 6,5 – 7 – 7,5 kg in carton boxes, EPS, IFCO and other customer-specific plastic crates, but self-evident we also offer the pears in other packaging, such as 12kg wooden crates, 1kg punnets and pears on trays.

During the cherry season, we are present in the production areas ourselves to select the best tasting cherries.

The reason that we select the cherries ourselves, on location, is that there can be such an incredible difference in color, firmness, taste, etc.

The first deliveries of delicious sweet and firm cherries, approved by our quality controllers, have arrived and have meanwhile been approved by the first customers.

Sedert middel Januarie het ons elke dag heerlike proe-aarbeie beskikbaar.

Ten minste is dit aarbeie wat soos aarbeie smaak. Hulle is sag, soet, en jy hou aan om hulle te eet.

Sterk weerstand teen Botrytis, dus relatief min probleme met vorm. ‘N Fantastiese aarbei met ‘n wonderlike vertoonlewe.

Produsente het ‘n effens hoër prys nodig, want die produksie van aarbeie met ‘n goeie smaak is dikwels ietwat laer as ander gewone soorte.

TastyFruit-aarbeie van ons toegewyde telers is beslis ‘n effens hoër prys werd!

Ons lewer tans 10x250g, 10x300g en 12x400g formate aan ons kliënte. Ons kan ook 500g en 1kilo pakkette op aanvraag lewer.

Van Spanje en Marokko het ons TastyFruit-aarbeie beskikbaar tot einde Mei, begin Junie, afhangend van die seisoen.

Ons is trots daarop dat ons, ten spyte van die ekstreme weersomstandighede, op 4 maande kan terugkyk met kersies van uitstekende gehalte.

Goeie proe dik kersies is altyd ons belangstelling.

Ons het begin met Spaanse en Portugese kersies en geëindig met Kanadese en Belgiese kersies.

In Kanada is helikopters gebruik om die kersies teen krake te beskerm. In België en Nederland belê produsente in die bedekking van die kersieboorde. Van Spanje en Portugal het ons die vereiste hoeveelheid vroeë ferm kersies ontvang, terwyl daar ‘n tekort aan die mark was.

Helikopters word gebruik om bome te droog te maak en sodoende die krake van kersies te verminder

Ondanks die swaar reënval was die Kanadese kersies weereens waardeer.

Ons was bevoorreg om die vereiste kersies van hoë gehalte van toegewyde telers gedurende die seisoen te ontvang.

Dit was nog ‘n seisoen met fantastiese gehalte. Groot, soet en robuuste kersies vir die kersliefhebbers.

Growers Packers is nou SKAL-gesertifiseer.

Dit stel ons in staat om van nou af organiese produkte aan te bied.

Ons fokus aanvanklik op bloubessies wat ons die hele jaar beskikbaar sal hê.
