Climate is very important to grow high quality cherries. We pack our cherries in areas that are suitable to grow strong, tasty cherries.
Almost all cherries in the orchards at trees are of a perfect quality, but to get these cherries also perfect at the consumer is another piece of cake.
Together with the right know-how and optimal cold treatments we achieve a long storable (transport), tasty cherry with an optimal shelf-life.
We have Cherries from different origins.
Cherries from Spain, France, Belgium, Turkey and Chile are sold in different brands of mainly 5 and 2,5kg.
Consumer packs are available in private label, in all kind of punnets, cardboards and sizes.
To guarantee our clients our motto and concept ‘first time right, every time’, we’re checking the cherries before harvesting, during packing and at departure.
Cherry Facts:
• Cherries provide one of the few naturally occurring sources of melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep/wake cycles.
• Anthocyanins in cherries relieve pain as effectively as aspirin.
• Cherries offer a formidable defense against cancer, because they are overflowing with beta carotene, vitamin C, boron and a class of powerful antioxidants called anthocyanins.
• 10-20 Cherries daily reducing risk of gout attack.
